We are an urban community space that can be booked or visited for social, recreational or professional activities.

We have a hall, a licensed bar, two heritage-listed grass bowling greens, & plenty of outdoor & undercover spaces for events.

We are currently undergoing some much-needed upgrades to our facilities. Stage one is now complete with the addition of a new UAT facility & stage two is underway with the concrete ramping around the club. Making our venue accessible to everyone. We'd like to thank our members for their patience during this time.

The Club History

On 19 July 1905, the first meeting was held at the Masonic Hall on Cambridge Street, West Leederville for the formation of the Leederville Bowling and Croquet Club (now known as the Leederville Sporting Club or the West Leedy Bowlo).

Bowlers attended the meeting from all over the city along with the Mayor of Perth at the time, Harry Brown. Initially the first membership only consisted of forty bowling members (men) and twenty-one croquet members (women). A committee was soon formed to set the club rules and allocate financial agreements.
